Getting to Know the First Baptist Family

The First Baptist Church of Walterboro is a traditional Baptist congregation in the best sense of the term. The Baptist faith tradition is identified by certain distinctive beliefs and practices. We whole-heartedly support these beliefs that form the foundation of our ministry and fellowship.

We are also proud of the history of our congregation. First Baptist has been involved in this community and Baptist life in South Carolina for 150 years. Our goal is to be good citizens of our community while staying true to our calling to share and live the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
