Youth Ministry

setapartlogo

An open and honest environment where teenagers can experience God, learn more about their need for the Gospel, and have a fun time with their friends.

Friends, this world is not your home, so don't make yourselves cozy in it. Don't indulge your ego at the expense of your soul. Live an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute their prejudices. Then they'll be won over to God's side and be there to join in the celebration when he arrives.    1 Peter 2:12 (The Message)

Mission Statement:

“To equip student ministry leaders and parents to produce spiritually mature students, by leading them in how to properly develop a Christ-centered worldview that penetrates all areas of their lives and for the rest of their life. As a result, the church will be edified, and the Kingdom of God will continue to be advanced until the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My desire is to not only reach young people and their families with the Gospel of Christ, but to also unleash the Gospel and change a whole city.”

When I look at a sixth grader, my mind jumps to him or her graduating high school. And I ask myself, "Did the student ministry prepare him or her for college and life?" My desire is to consider the graduating senior and work backwards with my curriculum that I write and choose. - Jeff Leopard, Youth Minister
